The intro to handgun course will give the student understanding of current concealed weapon permit laws, rights and responsibilities and state statutes. The student will gain knowledge of firearms along with use of force guidlines when faced in a possibly deadly situation.

Students will be subject to a variety of firearms on the market and, most importantly, will incorporate firearm safety. The student will be provided knowledge in areas of tactical communication, force escalation and recognition of potental threats.
