Glory Gervacio Saure oversees EEOC’s operations in the state of Hawaii and the U.S. territories of Guam, American Samoa, Wake Island and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
“Glory Gervacio Saure has expertly and graciously served the public through the EEOC for many years,” said Rosa M. Viramontes, district director for the EEOC’s Los Angeles District, which oversees the Honolulu Local Office.
“Ms. Gervacio Saure’s long-standing ties within the communities in Hawaii and her incredible experience in investigating employment discrimination cases will serve her well as she assumes leadership of the Honolulu office.”
She worked as an enforcement investigator for nearly 14 years at the EEOC’s Honolulu Local Office and often provides outreach and educational assistance to various communities in her jurisdiction.
Gervacio Saure has been the recipient of several awards, including the 2014 EEOC Chair’s Bronze Medal Award for Advancing Equality through Excellence.
Gervacio Saure said, “Eradicating unlawful discrimination in the workplace is my life’s work. I am honored to continue that work in my new leadership capacity. It is my great honor to serve the communities in Hawaii and the Pacific.”
