Area adults (teens are welcome to register to attend, too) are invited to join us for a fun evening of creation, learning, and snacking! This is a brand new painting created custom for this event. It will look wonderful on your front door or anywhere you need a little Springtime whimsy. Attendees will be instructed step by step by local artist Carrie Turner throughout the process of creating their own fairy or gnome home/doorway. We will be using paints, paint markers, and glitter (for those who choose to). This painting is designed for those who have never touched a brush before to beginner skill level. It is completely customizable and options will be shown and encouraged. All painting supplies are provided.
Bottled water and plates/cutlery/napkins are included in the ticket price. If your finances allow, guests are encouraged to bring a small container of a pre-washed and pre-cut fruit or vegetable to share (or a fruit dip or dressing would work, too!). If your finances do not allow, we'd still like you to register for this party and enjoy what is offered complimentary. The party will be held at the Muskingum Valley Park District's Visitor Center at Mission Oaks Gardens, 496 Pitman Street, Zanesville, OH 43701. A portion of the proceeds of this event will be donated to the MVPD and Mission Oaks Garden. Michelle Illing, park representative, will be on hand to share more about what is coming up this year with the MVPD, fun events for you and your children/grandchildren, when the fairies return to the park, National Public Gardens Day celebration, all of the locations you can enjoy within the county, and more. We encourage all to take advantage of this opportunity to check out the rentable events center space and enjoy fellowship with friends. Note that this space is handicap accessible and there are no steps or stairs to enter it.
$35 total ticket price for this event. Please note that this amount is non-refundable; however, it is fully transferable to another person, in the case that you are unable to attend. As a one time courtesy and to prevent spreading of germs, if you become ill and unable to attend, please message the Spirited Creations Facebook page and we will refund your ticket. If you do not ask for a refund, we will assume your ticket price is a donation, and we thank you.
