I love how much marketing has evolved with busted silos creating more integrated approaches. My roots are in communications which is now at the forefront of almost all marketing initiatives, including PR, median relations, internal comms, social media and content. I have worked in marketing for more 30 years in the real estate, sports, TV, agency and university industries. I have been at the forefront of the smart home world having worked closely with the likes of the Consumer Technology Association, CNET, CEDIA, Lutron, Nest, August and Amazon Alexa. I was honored by PR News as the 2010 "Lemonade Maker," earning the award for leading Coldwell Banker public relations efforts to great results despite the recession's negative impact on the real estate market. It was also an honor to be invited to speak at the 2016 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) International Conference on "Partnerships as the new PR." I also taught public relations for several years and am most proud of my 2002 baseball book, "The Hit Men and the Kid Who Batted Ninth." I am a 1985 graduate of Syracuse University.
