Cybersecurity Awareness Training

Cybersecurity Awareness Training (CSAT), version 1.0 

The Connecticut Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (CT DEMHS) is pleased to offer the inaugural CSAT, v1.0 to regional partners.  This course will focus on individual Cybersecurity hygiene, organizational Preparedness for Cybersecurity Events, and coincides with current, Cybersecurity efforts. 

Topics:  

·         Cybersecurity threats & incidents, 

·         Cyber Hygiene practices/tips, 

·         Cybersecurity Resilience at-home,  

·         State of CT Cybersecurity Preparedness & Plans, 

Who should attend:   

·         Municipal CEOs (i.e. Town Managers, 1^st Selectmen, etc.), 

·         Administrative Assistants (local government),  

·         Town Clerks, 

·         Municipal Department Heads, 

·         Emergency Management Directors (EMDs),  

·         Municipal Information Technology (IT) representatives,  

·         Municipal Internet Service Provider (ISP) representatives,  

·         Chief Information Security Officers (CISO),  

·         Registrar of Voters,  

·         Superintendent of Schools or administrators,  

·         Library Staff,   

·         Regional Cybersecurity Task Force members.
