Do you have students in grade 4 or higher who struggle to decode words? This presents an immense challenge for upper elementary and secondary educators, as instructional focus has shifted to higher-level comprehension with the assumption that most students are able to decode the words on the page. The reality is that many students lack foundational skills necessary for higher level reading success.

In this interactive webinar, we will discuss how to teach upper grade students the basics of decoding words - including what targeted instruction should look like for struggling readers, as well as implications for teaching advanced word study to all learners.
