Course description:
Today, DHIS2 is the world's largest Health Information Management System platform, in use by ministries of health in 72 low and middle-income countries. 2.3 billion people live in countries where DHIS2 is used (30% of the world's population).
Have you ever wondered what it takes to configure a DHIS2 instance? Do you want to understand the latest and greatest DHIS2 functionalities and improve your ability to create data sets in DHIS2?
If you answered yes, then you won’t want to miss this 2-day DHIS2 virtual training course. With a mix of presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, you will gain a deeper understanding of the comprehensive and powerful capabilities of the aggregate data model in DHIS2 and how you can apply these capabilities to your own DHIS2 instance.
In this virtual training course, you will learn how to configure a DHIS2 instance that fits a specific use case. Along the way, you will be taught all of the options available for configuring and customizing metadata to suit your specific needs.
This course is intended for individuals who want a deeper understanding of configuration, rather than an introduction to DHIS2 features. Using BAO’s free metadata import utility tool, the course will also cover bulk importing of a wide range of metadata types.
The peer-learning, DHIS2 virtual training has been designed to accommodate participation from low- and middle-income countries by removing significant barriers that restrict participation at traditional events, such as travel and cost barriers. This course will be taught by highly experienced DHIS2 experts who will be able to answer any question you may have.
