Course Description
Today, DHIS2 is the world's largest Health Management Information System platform, usd by ministries of health in 80 low- and middle-income countries. In fact, 3.2 billion people live in countries where DHIS2 is used.
You will learn to configure a DHIS2 instance, understand the latest and greatest DHIS2 functionalities, and improve your ability to create event and tracker programs in DHIS2.

With a mix of presentations, demonstrations and hands-on exercises, you will gain a deeper understanding of the comprehensive and powerful capabilities of the event and tracker data models in DHIS2 and how you can apply these capabilities to your own DHIS2 instance.
In the in-person training course, you will learn how to configure DHIS2 event and tracker programs that fit a specific use case. You will also be taught all of the options available for configuring and customizing metadate to suit your specific needs.
This course is intended for individuals who want a deeper understanding of configuration, rather than an introduction to DHIS2 features. Using BAO's free metadate import utility tool, the course will also cover bulk importing of a wide range of metadata types.
