Sensory play stimulates a child's senses such as touch, smell, taste, movement, balance, sight, and hearing. Sensory activities faciliate exploration and naturally encourage children to use scientific processes while they play, create, investigate, and explore. Join us for some summertime sensory activities on Monday June 24 from 6pm-8pm at Mark Twain Elementary Playground. (This will be outside to allow for messy play.) Plus run off some energy afterwards by playing on the playground equipment. This event is free for ages 7-11.

The Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks was originally created by six families wanting to make a difference in the lives of their children with Down syndrome. With their ideas, the leadership of Lynn Neidigh and the support of both the St. Louis & Kansas City groups, DSGO officially became a 501 (c)(3) in 2006. We have come a long way but know that there is still much more that we can do to make our mission an everyday reality. Your donation of time, talent, in-kind service and/or financial support all plays a huge part in our continued growth. Join us in making a difference!
