This option is for asset hosts to indicate a willingness and ability to deliver an ASSET to the rodeo. Upon receipt of this information, staff from the DEMHS Region 4 Office will notify the contact person to confirm/decline the offer. This option is for the ASSET, NOT THE HUMAN. Hosts who are bringing equipment to the rodeo should complete a registration for each piece of equipment being suggested for the rodeo. Unless confirmed, please do not bring any assets to the rodeo.

Camp Nett at Niantic, Smith Street, East Lyme, CT, 06357, United States.

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Emergency management personnel involved in incident command and support are encouraged to attend this event. In addition to emergency management directors, this includes fire and police incident commanders, communications/dispatch professionals, public works directors, and emergency medical services.

  • A sampling of equipment available for emergency response and recovery operations will be showcased.
  • These mutual aid assets are supported by host communities and the State of Connecticut through federal grants and other sources.

 

The rodeo will be concurrent with the 2024 CT Emergency Management Symposium at Camp Nett on Tuesday, April 23.

 

There will be two sessions for viewing during the day:

  • AFTERNOON SESSION: 1400-1600 HOURS
  • EVENING SESSION: 1800-1930 HOURS

There will be a short pause in access to the rodeo area between sessions to allow a break for equipment hosts.

 

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS AND TICKET TYPES:

  • General Attendees: This ticket type is for the HUMAN to join us and view the various assets housed across DEMHS Region 4. Choose this option if you are not registered for the 2024 CT Emergency Management Symposium but are an emergency responder or incident commander in Region 4 and wish to attend the rodeo. 

IMPORTANT: You do NOT need to register here IF YOU SUCCESFULLY REGISTERED for the 2024 CT Emergency Management Symposium at https://www.ccm-ct.org/Education-and-Events/2024-Emergency-Management-Symposium. Access to the rodeo is included with the symposium registration.

  • Asset/Equipment: This ticket type is for the ASSET, NOT THE HUMAN. This option is for asset hosts to indicate a willingness and ability to deliver an ASSET to the rodeo. Special thanks to the CT National Guard for access to their facility for this event. The rodeo site is a restricted military location.

  • Please abide by all local and State laws as well as policies of the CT National Guard while on site.
  • A valid State or federally issued photo identification is required to enter the facility.
