Two workshops on Friday and one workshop on Saturday (9 hrs of CEUs = 6 clinical and 3 ethics hrs) Partial Approval - $85.00

This ticket provides a morning and afternoon session on October 4th and a three hour workshop on Saturday, October 5th. This registration is for both days. You can attend any or ALL of the sessions that interest you. Attendance at both sessions on Friday equals to six CEUS. Attendance at the Saturday workshop is equal to three CEUs. CEUs sent at the end of the entire conference.

NASW-Kansas Chapter is sponsoring its second annual fall virtual clinical symposium. With dynamic speakers, cutting-edge workshops, and engaging special presentations, attendees can earn 9 of their 40 continuing education credits including (6 hours of diagnosis and assessment and 3 hours ethics) required during the day and half of workshops. 
The fall symposium will be held virtually to allow attendees the flexibility to chose the workshops of interest to them and  fit into their schedules. We will be offering 2 sessions in the morning and 2 sessions in the afternoon on Friday on October 4th and one session on Saturday - October 5th. 
Your support by attending our events directly fund NASW-Kansas student outreach, legislative advocacy, social work policy, and events and programs across Kansas.

Kansas Chapter - National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is the largest professional association of social workers in the state. Our members represent NASW throughout the state, living and working in rural, suburban, and urban counties. Our members work in wide range of settings among diverse populations. The Kansas Chapter office is located in in downtown Topeka, just blocks from the Capital Building. We are a non-profit professional membership organization for degreed social workers as well as students matriculating through Council of Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited schools.

Matthew Schrock joined the KDHE Tobacco Use Prevention Program in January 2009. His main responsibility is coordinating the promotion and utilization of the Kansas Tobacco Quitline and assisting providers with implementing systems changes to address tobacco use. Matthew received his Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Washburn University.

Graduate of Tulane University of New Orleans with a master’s in clinical social work and certification of Gerontology. Through further education she attained a certification in Child and Adolescent Grief Counseling from the International Association of Health Care Professionals. Phelica is a Fellow of the American Academy of Grief. She also holds certifications as a Sex Offender Treatment Provider, Geriatric Social Work, Sex and Porn Addiction Recovery, Suicide Bereavement, Yoga Nidra and Spiritual Life Coach. It is her belief that healing requires a collective effort thus she encourages community education and normalizes conversation about mental health issues. Phelica holds various positions within the following organizations within Topeka: Board President of For the Culture Kansas, Co-Facilitator of Athena International Leadership Program with Go Topeka, NAACP Topeka, Phelica is the Ethics Chair for the Kansas National Association of Social Work. Phelica is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc, Chi Delta Zeta Chapter of Lawrence/Topeka, KS where she currently is Chaplain at all levels and the Regional/State Mental Health Coordinator. She is also a member of The Links Topeka Chapter.
