Thomas County Humane Society, 180 Big Star Drive, Thomasville, GA, 31792, United States.
It's HOTC Family Volunteer Day! Families of all shapes and sizes (work, home, church, family) are encouraged to volunteer together to create lasting memories and experiences through community service. Come together to help animals at The Thomasville-Thomas County Humane Society. You will walk, pet, wash and socialize with the animals to help keep them happy while they wait for their forever homes. You are encouraged to bring old, but clean, blankets and towels, pet toys and food to donate. Recommended for ages 10 and up. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult volunteer. This is a no-frills service opportunity. Please bring anything you will need to be comfortable, wear appropriate attire and closed-toe shoes. If you have an HOTC tshirt (any year, any program), this would be a great time to wear it! HOTC Tshirts available on a first-come, first-served basis for those who did not receive one on HOTC Day in October (while supplies last). Groups larger than 10 interested in volunteering should call the HOTC office at 226-5200.
