Write letters and make holiday cards for service men and women
Thomas County Public Library, 201 N. Madison St., Thomasville, GA, 31792, United States.
It's HOTC Family Volunteer Day! Families of all shapes and sizes (work, church, home, friends) are encouraged to volunteer together to create lasting memories and experiences through community service. You will write letters and make holiday cards for service men and women who are away from their families, friends and homes. Learn more about Mail for Heroes here: http://www.redcross.org/support/get-involved/holiday-mail-for-heroes.
Recommended for all ages. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult volunteer. This is a no-frills service opportunity. Please bring anything you will need to be comfortable, wear appropriate attire and closed-toe shoes. If you have an HOTC tshirt (any year, any program), this would be a great time to wear it! HOTC Tshirts available on a first-come, first-served basis for those who did not receive one on HOTC Day in October (while supplies last). Groups larger than 10 interested in volunteering should call the HOTC office at 226-5200.
