COVID-19 has shone a spotlight on the gender wage and wealth gaps as we enter a "Shecession." WFRI is pleased to offer a new program called "Women's Financial Empowerment Series," with each session focusing on a new topic. This month, we tackle Will & Estate Planning.

Regardless of marital status or net worth, women need to make decisions and arrangements today in order to protect themselves, their partners and other loved ones in case of incapacity or death. In today's world of COVID, women face unique circumstances that make it vital for them to educate themselves about estate planning to provide for a secure future. Join WFRI board member and trusts and estates attorney, Claire Carrabba, for an introduction to fundamental estate planning. Claire will discuss basic estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, health care directives and powers of attorney, as well as other planning concerns and strategies.
