"The two-day Fine Art Long Exposure Photography workshop in Toronto with Marc and John was amazing... I have learned so much in a short period of time..."

Student Testimonial by Jaclyn A. after the first Toronto Workshop in September of 2013

"When attending a workshop there are certain thing that will set it apart from others. Firstly competency of instruction and second the power to inspire. John and Marc possess both of these qualities and more. The right mix of theoretical and practical activities makes for enjoyable and productive sessions. John and Marc take an artist’s vision and make it accessible. I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and have become a better photographer and artist as a result. Thank you both."

Vancouver Photo Workshops is proud to announce this unique Fine-Art Architecture & Seascapes Workshop with international award-winning photographers, John Kosmopoulos and Marc Koegel

Held in Toronto, Ontario, this 3 day workshop will have you shooting at fantastic locations all while exploring creative techniques, angles and photographic vision.

This workshop is aimed at covering fine-art long exposure photography techniques as well as post processing, but participants are welcome to photograph using more 'conventional' techniques as well. We will provide you with the insights into the vision and perception of two outstanding photographers: John Kosmopoulos and Marc Koegel.

Throughout the 3 day workshop, there will be many opportunities for shooting both the major architectural attractions as well as incredible seascapes locations (all within 45 minute drive of Toronto). We'll also be photographing many hidden gems we'll find along our routes.

We'll be able to use public transportation to most of our shooting locations, and will also be using car-pooling to get us arround. More information about specific routes and transportation options will be sent to registered students a few weeks before the workshop.

At each shooting location there will opportunities to interact with the instructors and discuss any questions you might have, from technical to creative and beyond.

In addition to being out with our cameras, we will also place a strong emphasis on 'classroom' learning by way of presentations done by each instructor.

And we won't forget about spending time to review your work!

Finally, we are excited to announce that this workshop weekend will feature prizes and give-aways by the instructors as well as selected sponsors. By participating, you automatically become eligible to win!

For this workshop, digital camera equipment, or film in any format (including 4x5 and larger), can be used. Students can choose to shoot in black and white or color.

The workshop will be held at the following location in downtown Toronto:

Cambridge Suites Hotel Toronto

15 Richmond St E, Toronto, ON M5C 1N2

Please note that the workshop fee does NOT include Hotel accomodations. You are free to stay at the same hotel the workshop is held or elsewhere in Toronto. We will meet in the lobby on the first day of the workshop (June 5, 2015) at 9am sharp.
