The webinar will run 3:30pm to 6:30pm (Amsterdam) / 9:30am to 12:30pm (New York) on Friday, October 9.
This training will provide basic skills and methodologies in conducting verification when monitoring conflicts, with a focus on the ongoing conflict in the Karabakh.
We will discuss the basic verification process and focus on geolocation throughout the webinar.
We conduct basic background screens on all participants to be sure that other participants and our trainers are not uncomfortable with providing training to some organizations and governments.
There will be three trainings on this same topic held: in English, Russian, and Armenian. Unfortunately, Bellingcat does not have any Azeri-speaking trainers. Please sign up for the event in the language you feel most comfortable working with. Please do not sign up to multiple sessions. If you register for multiple sessions, your registration will be cancelled for all of them.
Our Armenian-language webinar will be held on October 13th at 2:30 - 5:30pm CET (4:30pm Yerevan/Baku/Tbilisi).
Our Russian-language webinar will be held on October 12th at 8:00 - 11:00am CET (10am Yerevan/Baku/Tbilisi).
