Come hear Kelly Miller, Executive Director of the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence (and an AAUW Boise Area Branch member), speak about "Imagining Real Solutions to End Domestic Violence." Before joining the Idaho Coalition, Kelly represented girls and women who were impacted by violence and individuals with disabilities as an attorney with Legal Aid Society and an assistant prosecutor in a felony domestic violence/sexual assault unit in Louisville, Kentucky, and as Deputy Director with Idaho Legal Aid Services. 

This is an evening meeting and also our annual business meeting.  Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m., the business meeting begins at 6:00 p.m., and our speaker will begin about 6:15 p.m. Be sure to arrive by 5:15 p.m. to register, pick up your meal ticket and be seated.    

If you plan to attend the meeting only, you may join the group at 6:00 p.m. to participate in the business meeting and hear Kelly speak.

AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research. The Boise Area Branch has been active in the community since 1909. The branch is actively engaged in public policy work throughout the year, and maintains a presence at the Statehouse during the Idaho legislative session.
