This event will be something fun! We start the event pools as "Mixed Steel" any single hand weapon and offhand device (nothing longer than a sidesword. Weapons will be approved by manufacturer and listed in the rules). From the pools we do elimination pools within the weapon category (Sword and Buckler in a group of pools, messer in a group of pools, saber.... etc). We fence in the elim pools until we reach final 4 for that weapon category. We will have awards for all the weapon categories and then allow (if they elect to) all the finalists in the categories to fight in another elim pool together. This allows for both a "Mixed Steel" fun event and a more serious sub tournament for each of the weapon disciplines. This will be held on Friday 10/28

Gesellen Fechten 2022 has the goal of being the most professional and competitive HEMA event hosted in the USA. The Tournament this year will be a 3 day event at an indoor sports facility in Oklahoma City.
