Guidance Alignment with Orenda Education

In order to maximize their effectiveness, guidance and counseling teams must be aligned in their vision for student outcomes. Too often, schools can find themselves with conflicting expectations for different student groups. If we set the equity “floor” as preparedness for college and career, how can we effectively measure and support student progress toward this outcome? What are the research-based predictors of future success that we should be measuring? And lastly, how do we systematize this work so that students do not fall through the equity cracks? Participants in this session will experience: - an introduction to Early Warning Indicator systems and Guidance Alignment - a preview of eWise and the use combination data - time-tested Orenda practices for the making of counseling work agreements and the measuring of those agreements effectiveness (protocol/systems)
