HAZWOPER 8-hour Refresher
An 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher course is a mandatory annual training session for workers involved in hazardous waste operations, designed to update their knowledge on safety procedures, hazard recognition, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, decontamination techniques, emergency response protocols, and recent regulatory changes related to handling hazardous materials, ensuring they remain competent to safely perform their duties according to OSHA's HAZWOPER standards; it typically covers topics like site safety planning, hazard communication, toxicology, monitoring, and proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste.
*** It is a pre-requisite that you have already completed the 40-hour HAZWOPER training, prior to attending this course. This is a 8-hour refresher course. ***
