Village to Village, Intl., is excited to offer the Hope For The Journey Conference (formerly the Empowered To Connect Conference) in partnership with Grace Community Church of Goshen. This is a one-day conference (May 6th) for adoptive/foster parents, biological parents, ministry leaders, and professionals designed to help us learn how to parent our children in a way that allows them to build trust, heal from their past, and, ultimately, become all that God desires them to be.
-Is your child struggling behaviorally at home or at school?
-Do you find it hard to like your child sometimes?
-Do you feel ill-equipped to parent your child in a way that leaves you both feeling connected and content?
We get it. We've been there too. Parenting is hard. Join us for this one-day conference and together, we can learn how to help all children become all that God destined them to be.
Although geared towards caregivers of kiddos from hard places, this conference has been a tremendous blessing to professionals and parents who work with kids in any capacity. We believe that trust-based interactions are vital for all children, even those without a significant history of trauma.
Details:
-Exact times will be announced at a later date, but we anticipate starting around 8:30 and ending around 4:30.
-Lunch will be provided as part of your ticket price.
-We are not able to provide childcare.
