Village to Village, Intl., is excited to once again offer the Hope For The Journey Conference (formerly the Empowered To Connect Conference) in partnership with Grace Community Church of Goshen. This is a one-day conference (April 23rd) for adoptive and foster parents, ministry leaders, and professionals designed to help us learn how to intervene with children from hard places in a way that builds trust, helps them heal, and, ultimately, become all that God desires them to be.
Even though this event is designed for foster/adoptive parents, we want to invite all parents to join us. We believe that learning how to connect with kids in a way that builds trust is vital for all children, even those without a significant history of trauma.
As parents, we want the best for our children and we strive to have them grow to be exactly what God wants them to be. Parenting is hard. Sometimes we may feel lost and like we don't what our kids need from us. How do we know if we are actually getting through?
Please join us for this one-day conference and together, we can learn how to help all children become all that God destined them to be.
-Exact times will be announced at a later date, but we anticipate starting around 8:30 and ending around 4:30.
-Lunch will be provided as part of your ticket price.
