Swim Finish, Woodley Island Marina, Eureka, CA, 95503, United States.

The Critter Crawl is a non-competitive, mostly current assisted, 4.5 mile open water swim tour of Humboldt Bay. The course begins at the Samoa boat ramp and campground near the opening to the bay and progresses along the Eureka city front to the Woodley Island Marina.

Spectators may watch the swim anywhere along the bay front, at the swim finish on Woodley Island, or from the water, aboard the Madaket, which will be chartered to follow alongside the swimmers as they sail through the bay.

To ensure swimmer safety, each participant will be paired with a kayaker or paddle board escort for support in the water. Multiple motorized support boats will also be on hand to aid with navigation and alert vessel traffic to the presence of swimmers.
