Mystery Scavenger Hunt in Downtown Oshkosh

There has been a robbery at the museum and we need your help to catch the culprit!
Over 20 clues are hidden throughout Downtown Oshkosh.
At the beginning of your investigation you will pick up your detective package from Jambalaya Arts Inc.
In that packet is a booklet that contains instructions on how to play, a list of suspects, pages for notes, a deduction page and a map to help you find all the clues.
Visit the locations on the map and gather all the clues.
Once you think you know who the thief is, turn in your deduction page for a chance to win prizes.
This is not a race. All correct deductions will go into a drawing that will take place after the reveal at the end of the evening. Winners do not need to be present at the reveal and can pick up prizes at a later date.
If you cannot attend the reveal or prize drawing, it will be livestreamed on the Jambalaya Arts Inc Facebook page.
Gameplay is active between 8:30 AM and 8:30 PM, on SATURDAY OCTOBER 14th.
Estimated time to play is 2-3 hours & you can start, stop and resume any time during active gameplay.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- To participate, you will need a smartphone with internet access. Many (but not all) clues are QR codes that take you to videos of suspects, audio files and images that will help you solve the mystery.
- If you are unfamiliar with how QR codes work we will provide you with an instruction sheet
- Your deduction page needs to be turned in by 8:30pm to be eligible for the prize drawings
- Winners not present at the reveal will be notified and able to pick up their prize at a later date
- One prize per individual or registered group
PRIOR TO GAME DAY
• Register for the event individually OR as a group to reserve your spot
• A group consists of up to 4 people ages 12 and up
o There will be one point of contact per group, (Group Captain)
o Only one prize per individual OR group
o Children under 12 do not count towards group total
• Cost is $5.00 per person OR group.
• All ages welcome, family friendly storyline (no murders...this time!)
GAME DAY, Saturday October 14th, 2023
• On Saturday, October 14th, sometime between 8:30 AM-6:00 PM, pick up your detective package at:
o Jambalaya Arts Inc @ 413 N Main Street
• Your detective package will consist of:
o A small booklet that includes: instructions, a list of suspects, a map of where to look for clues, pages for your own notes and an accusation page you will be turning in.
o Pen
• Gameplay is active between 8:30 AM and 8:30 PM, on SATURDAY OCTOBER 14th.
Estimated time to play is 2-3 hours & you can start, stop and resume any time during active gameplay.
• Follow your map to discover clues and piece together the evidence to work out who you believe is the culprit.
• Once you think you know "whodunit", complete the accusation sheet and turn it in to Jambalaya Arts Inc. (413 N. Main Street) by 8:30 PM that same evening.
• The big reveal is at 9:00 PM at Jambalaya Arts Inc.
• There will be a drawing from all the correct deductions directly following the reveal.
• If you cannot attend in person, the reveal and drawing will also be livestreamed on the Jambalaya Arts Inc Facebook page.
Prize winners do not need be present at the drawing and can pick up their prize at a later date.
