PaddleLife is excited to announce that Kenny Rice is heading to Jamestown, RI this summer!
Join Kenny for a whole weekend of Surfski learning and fun! Please get the 27th and 28th July 2019 into your diaries and don't miss out!
Kenny Rice needs little introduction to anyone who has followed the world and results of international Surfski racing over the past 4 years. Kenny is from Cape Town, South Africa and renowned for his downwind and surf skills as well as a tenatious will to win. These have all helped Kenny to win back to back Gorge Downwind festivals against all of the best in the business, as well as many podium finishes at the Perth Doctor, Cape Point Challenge and many other national and World Championship titles across Surfski and marathon kayak. Kenny leads a group of 'young gun' paddlers who are taking charge at many of the worlds most prestigious races. Kenny's tough as nails attitude in the race boat is contrasted by a kind, and happy go lucky persona on land and during his teaching. You'll be sure to be laughing with him in minutes and you are guaranteed to learn from the wealth of knowledge that Kenny will pass along to you! Kenny is excited to visit Newport, RI for his first trip to the East Coast and looks forward to giving away some of his secrets and stories about how he achieves his best!
