Are you an afterschool professional who desires a safe space to process complex topics with others? LATT aims to offer community growth circles that can challenge us while also creating a safe space to process salient topics that burden us as OST professionals. These facilitated conversations are grounded in Dr. Shawn Ginwright's Healing Centered Engagement to coalesce healing, solidarity, and compassion.
For December, we will come together and discuss the process of conducting culturally responsive programs. Share some strategies that you've mastered and support each other in the areas we need growth. Through this conversation, we hope to gain confidence and discover new (to us) practices that promote cultural responsiveness.
