Intimate Dinner; or Tap Water Is Fine, a solo show written and performed by Lauren French and directed by Prentiss Standridge, invites the audience to an exclusive and fictional Food and Wine Festival Event hosted at an upscale, exclusive, and fictional fine dining eatery in Downtown Spartanburg. The audience follows a server named Lauren (and 17 other characters) as she waits on various customers and navigates surprise guest appearances by celebrity chefs. “Intimate Dinner” is a comedic and loving look at our absurd relationships with food and fine dining.
