The Lead II ECG Interpretation course reviews basic cardiac anatomy, physiology, and electrophysiology and teaches ECG rhythm, acquisition, and identification. It is required that you prepare for the course in advance by studying the information in the course textbook, reading at least the recommended chapters of the course text, and spending some time practicing ECG rhythm recognition using the textbook. With advance preparation you will be able to complete the course with greater comprehension and retention. Refer to the course syllabus for details on preparing for the course (see attachment).
This course is a 15 hour course and runs:
Monday, January 9, 2017 - 0830-1230
Tuesday, January 10, 2017 - 0830-1230
Tuesday, January 17, 2017 - 0830-1230
Friday, January 20, 2017 - 0900-1200

The course content is based on the textbook:
Ellis, K. M. (2011). EKG plain and simple (3rd. ed.). Upper Saddle River, NJ: Pearson Prentice Hall.
The textbook can be purchased from Seasons Gift Shop at TBRHSC; cost $94.00.
Hours of operation: Monday to Friday, 0900 – 1930 hrs.
Saturday to Sunday, 1200 – 1600 hrs.
