Legacy Events are for designated returning attendees (who have attended three or more events in the past five years) or by special invitation. We offer special early registration and sometimes discounts.
Our first event for 2023 will kick off at the haunted Belmont Inn, located in Abbeville, SC. The Belmont Inn, which first opened its doors 130 years ago, has seen a rich and diverse history. It served as a hotel for railroad workers and vaudeville stars and low-income renters before nearly falling apart in the mid-20th century. In the late 20th century, it underwent drastic renovations and returned to being a destination inn for upstate SC. The legends of paranormal activity span decades. The inn hosts 24 renovated and classic hotel rooms and also boasts a restaurant and bar as well as meeting space for events.
What we'll be doing: We'll be hosting our first mini-conference at the event, including guest speakers who will offer a variety of topics about the paranormal. For VIPs, we'll check-in on Thursday and investigate another historic location within walking distance, then enjoying a quiet gathering. On Friday, we will host a dinner and talk, followed by a ghost hunt. On Saturday, we will host the workshops and then another night of investigating and seances. Hotel Room Registration: Hotel room registration opens up Monday, December 5th, 2023, where attendees will be offered a room block code that provides a discount to attendees. There are only 24 rooms available so please book your hotel early as soon as you get the code. Hotel policy is to place a $50 deposit for your room.
The Legacy Bundle: For those who wish to sign-up in advance for both Belmont and WVP, we are offering a special discount for the month of December 2022. If you sign up for both you will receive 50% off the regular WVP ticket price and guarantee your spot before it goes on sale to the general public in January 2023.
Fine details about the Legacy Bundle... We are offering six bundle tickets. After December, the bundle will no longer be available. The WVP pass is for the regular Friday-Sunday ticket (60% off). If we offer a Thursday add-on, you may choose to purchase that when it becomes available. The regular ticket will include Friday-Sunday events, which include two nights of investigating WVP, as well as any other activities offered. Food and lodging are obviously not included. Tentatively, we are soft booked for May 19-21st, 2023. Definitive dates will be confirmed by the second week of January 2023. If for some reason the dates change and you cannot go, you may request a refund for the WVP portion ($250). You must do so by January 31st, 2023. Otherwise, you may receive a $250 credit towards a future event. If you are refunded the money and you later wish to go to WVP, you must pay the regular ticket fee ($550).
