Local Emergency Operations Plan - Know Your Plan for Municipal/Tribal Partners
THIS CLASS WILL ***NOT*** TEACH HOW TO DEVELOP YOUR PLAN OR UPDATE THE TEMPLATE.
This class is for municipal partners who have already or are in the process of transitioning to the newer (2016) Local Emergency Operations Plan template .
- The template version rolled out in DEMHS Region 4 will be the focus of class discussions.
- However, municipal staff from throughout the State and DEMHS regions may benefit from the class.
This will be an interactive class.
- Attendees will be expected to ACTIVELY participate in class discussions to promote meaningful dialogue on the subject with and among partners.
- Participants should have their current plan or draft plan at the ready (digitally) to locate items and make notations.
- Please come with questions as well as recommendations for other partners based on your lessons learned, EOC tools, and messaging examples that may improve partners' plans.
- This will be an opportunity to review the organizational structure of your LEOP and the many available resources offered by the new format.
- With this class, you will gain familiarity with the plan structure for use operationally.
