LGBTQI Parents (Prospective, Pregnant & Parenting) Support Group (Saturdays 10:30am - 12pm, 4/8, 4/22 & 5/6)

Queer folk (individuals & couples) of all genders, expressions, orientations and intentions welcome!  Join others in your community to share support, resources, encouragement and experience.  This group is for: prospective parents (whether you are committed or actively working toward parenthood, or are still in the exploratory stages), pregnant parents, those that have a baby on the way (via surrogacy, adoption or fostering), and parents of babies ages 1 month to 1 year.  The intergenerational nature of this community encourages each of you to bring your unique experience into the circle, offering what you’ve learned, and learning from others that are at various other stages in the journey.  Parenting can be a very isolating experience for Queer folk, especially when others in your community are not also on that path.  Here we will find a shared language and experience, and make connections that can last through births, play dates, and beyond.

Please note that while our usual series includes six sessions over three months, this is a half series which will meet for three sessions over six weeks.  We'll meet every other week (unless the schedule is shifted to accommodate holidays, member or office unavailability, etc.).  The registration program will place the group on the first date only, but the fee covers all dates listed in the heading above.
