Full Week Attendance
Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, 1300 Godward St. NE, Minneapolis, MN, 55413, United States.
The Federal Executive Board of Minnesota has partnered with the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service to offer this week-long Mediation training for Federal Employees. Commisioners of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service will teach participants the skills to act as mediators. Past attendees have included EEO Specialists and Investigators, Supervisors, and Employees who want to improve their conflict management and active listening skills.
The FMCS 40-hour Mediation Training Course is designed to acquaint participants with fundamental skills of mediation. The course provides a broad-based approach to mediating disputes, and is a generalized program which is not limited to a specific topic such as: EEO, enforcement, labor, grants, etc... The training begins with what mediation is and how it is used in resolving conflicts. It then introduces basic mediation skills and provides opportunities to learn and apply these skills in a collaborative working environment.
The training is all five days, and runs 8:00am-4:30pm.
