A guided hike will take place at the Medina River Greenway at the Paso de Dolores / Perez Jacal Trailhead. Participants will be accompanied by archaeologists, Sergio and Melinda Iruegas, who conducted historic and archaeological research on the Perez Rancho and Jacal on the Association’s behalf. Discussion of trail developments in the area, as well as the upcoming MTC outreach meetings to establish a local chapter will take place. The walk will be a two-mile, round-trip hike to the jacal and we will also view the paso and swale remnants of the Camino along the way.
