Topic: Mental Health Stigma - A General Overview 

Presenter: Naomie Joseph-Micliz, MSW, LCSW, CCTP, DSW (c)

 

Naomie received her Masters of Social Work from Rutgers University and Interdisciplinary Traineeship on Developmental Disability from The Elizabeth M. Boggs Center. She provides outpatient mental health services to adolescents and adults at Monarch Freedom Counseling offices and NASW certified clinical supervisor. Naomie is the owner and therapist at Monarch Freedom Counseling and looking to expand and is currently a DSW (c). 

 

Naomie has been providing counseling and adult case management services for over 8 years in outpatient, school, and prison settings to adolescents, couples, and adults. She has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, she is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, as well as working with people who have experienced abuse and trauma. Naomie is a 10-year veteran of the US Army. She is fluent in English and Haitian Creole.
