We will be having a free workshop and presentation on Video Game Addiction.
Video Game addiction is the latest behavioral disorder. To put it in perspective, worldwide revenue for McDonald's was $22 billion in 2017. Revenue in the U.S. alone from video games in 2018 was $30 billion. This presentation will discuss research, prevention, and treatment to help professionals, parents, and community members.
Andrew is a therapist, researcher, and writer who specializes in issues youth and young adults face. He holds Master’s Degrees in Social Work and Human Resource Management from Rutgers University. He has presented on this topic across NJ and many conferences, including the NASW convention. Prior to working in the behavioral health field Andrew lived and worked in the Gulf of Mexico oilfield. In his free time Andrew loves to cook, read, and build furniture.
