ABOUT MINDFUL EATING FOR THE BELOVED COMMUNITY

Mindful eating for the beloved community (belovedmindfuleating.net): Is a national platform to discover conversations about the past and present impact on food in our individual lives as well as our families with a sense of awareness.

Mindful Eating for the Beloved Community also empower individuals and communities to address the health crisis in communities across America that have their root cause in poor nutrition.

ABOUT CHOICES

The mission of the Center Helping Obesity In Children End Successfully, Inc. (C.H.O.I.C.E.S.) is to be a parent and child resource center for the clinically diagnosed and at risk children of obesity. Over the last 17 years, C.H.O.I.C.E.S. has delivered it's message of fitness and nutrition education to children and adults through cooking classes, workshops, summer camps and health expos.

Our new Community Teaching Kitchen will serve as the second location for our year-round Cooking with C.H.O.I.C.E.S. program. This new teaching hub will enable us to improve our approach to attacking childhood and adult obesity and the chronic diseases related to obesity.
