Join Muppies DC for an in-person, socially-distanced Iftar Picnic catered by District Chicken & Gyro (DCG)! Don't forget to fill out the meal order form after your registration. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again for the first time in person this year.
Bring your BEST LOOKING prayer mats for a light-hearted competition and win a small prize! After iftar, we'll be providing sparklers to celebrate the blessed month of Ramadan!
Attendees are invited to join a special WhatsApp group to stay in touch prior to the iftar. Joining the WhatsApp group is recommended in order to coordinate location the day of. There is plenty of parallel street parking near the Washington Monument, and parking in DC on Sundays is FREE.
Iftar pricing covers the cost of meals & small donation to Project Affinity. Their programs target underserved members of the DMV community with ongoing volunteer-based dinners.
