Courageously stepping into stories of pain and harm is the very place that true healing and restoration occurs. -  Dan Allender

All of us have stories that have formed us. The invitation into story work is to take a deeper more honest look at thstories that have harmed and marred us and be able to notice and name the loss, betrayal, shame, neglect or even abuse these stories have heldIn this process, something truly transformative happens: we find the hope of redemption. This six week workshop will take the intentional time to share and engage each other's stories in a small group setting of 4- participants. We  are invited to step out of isolation and hiding and back into community. Using the Allender Method of Narrative Informed Story Engagement we will work together to name the impact of our childhood experiences, identify themes and process the places of both harm and hope,  brokenness and beauty.
Story Group fosters a sense of belonging as we help each other to put the pieces back together and make sense of our past, opening the door to transformative healing. Prior to attending, you will be asked to write about an aspect of your own childhood (ages 4- 18). Guidelines will be provided to support your personal reflection and writing process,

The cost for the workshop is 400 / individual for six weeks. This event is for women only.

Tina believes that healing and wholeness can be found by integrating mind, body, and spirit through mindfulness, movement, and story. She is passionate about seeing women reconnect with their bodies, releasing trauma to find freedom and wholeness. By combining her Narrative Focused Trauma Care Training through The Allender Center at The Seattle School of Psychology and Theology with her Somatic Trauma Therapy, Trauma Informed Yoga and Spiritual Direction Certification, Tina will journey alongside you on your path to healing. She will guide you into compassionate self-care; through breath, prayer, and mindfulness practices, bear witness to your story with honor, and hold space as you discover God’s movement throughout your life. Tina sees herself as a spiritual midwife for women as they witness their bodies, spirits and souls and allow for the Spirit to move in all three. She offers Individual Spiritual Direction and both Individual & Group Story Work and Movement Classes. In person and virtual.
