Phiip K. Bell is the President of the Washington, DC-based Steel Manufacturers Association. Prior to leading the SMA, Phil served as Director of External Communications and Public Affairs for Gerdau Long steel North America based in Tampa, FL. He is a 30-year industry veteran, who developed an interest in the steel industry and manufacturing in the late 1980's while working in maintenance and operations at Elementis Chromium in Corpus Christi, TX. He has held executive-level positions in operations, human resources and public affairs with Gerdau, the SGL Carbon Group, and Qualitech Steel Corporation. Mr. Bell currently serves on the U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Advisory Committee on Steel (ITAC 12), advising the Secretary of Commerce and US Trade Representative on trade policy, trade agreements, and other trade related matters that benefit U.S. business, workers, and the economy. He is the chairman of the National Association of Manufacturing (NAM), Council of Manufacturing Associations (CMA) and a member of the Association of Iron & Steel Technology. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Hamline University in St. Paul, MN.

Lisa Reisman is CEO of MetalMiner. MetalMiner helps buying organizations better manage margins, smooth commodity volatility, generate cost savings and negotiate with suppliers. The company does this through a unique artificial intelligence (AI), technical analysis (TA) and deep subject matter expertise. MetalMiner was recently spun out of parent company Azul Partners which Lisa led until very recently and which was subsequently sold to private equity. Today, Lias and her team continue to build out new tools to add to the company's SaaS platform, MetalMiner Insights. In addition, the company just launched its own trading arm, buying and selling a full ranch of commodities using the MetalMiner forecasts and methodologies.
