Training
Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotion/body pain, trauma, dissociation, and a variety of challenging symptoms. Brainspotting is a simultaneous form of diagnosis and treatment, enhanced with BioLateral Sound, which is deep, direct, powerful, yet focused and containing. Through lecture, live demonstration, and small group practice, participants will learn to do the following:
· Define the components of Brainspotting
· Utilize the techniques of Inside Window, Outside Window, and Gazespotting
· Define how Brainspotting can be applied to trauma, dissociation, sports psychology, and somatic conditions
· Demonstrate the theories and practices of Brainspotting

Participant Feedback
“Having my team trained in Brainspotting (BSP) by Steve was relational, respectful, and relevant to the work that we do within our Native community. He was able to thoughtfully weave our training with teachings of neuroscience and practice, and he respected our circle with prayer and smudging. This balance was critical for my team to feel comfortable enough to bring themselves fully to this experience without judgement. Steve gave ample time for our team to share stories and cultural healing practices. I would highly recommend Steve as your next BSP trainer if you are looking for a culturally respectful and relevant experience.”
