Outcomes:
1. Share strategies for infusing competency-based pedagogy into our teaching.
2. Brainstorm ways to address the challenges of using “open educational resources”.
3. Learn about the practical implications of the extraordinary shift in federal policy expected to open up significant funding to address the digital divide (aka “homework gap”) at home for low-income students of all ages.
4. Brainstorm ways to infuse into preservice methods courses, inservice development and student teaching the “habit of mind” to tap online research databases to improve students’ learning opportunities, engagement and results
5. Explore the feasibility and desirability of joining efforts to scale affordable “toolkits” of essential learning technology tools for interested schools and preparation programs across NH.

10:05 – 10:35 a.m.Panel: Technology toolkit – the rationale, Granite State College’s experience, potential benefits for prep programs and schools statewide. Panelists include: Granite State College's dean of education Nick Marks and library director Pat Erwin-Ploog, and GovConnection's vice-president of field sales
10:35 – 11:00 a.m.Q & A with panelists, to brainstorm best next steps for scaling toolkit initiative to benefit as many current and future educators and P12 students

Panelists include Susan Ballard, past president of the American Association of School Librarians, Pam Harland, past president of the NH School Library Media Association, and Pat Erwin-Ploog, library director, Granite State College.
1:25 – 2:20 p.m.Concurrent breakouts: identifying ways to infuse OER materials into:
1. Methods courses (Center for Educational Innovation, room 101)
2. Student teaching and preservice administrators’ clinical experience (CEI, Room 102)
3. Educator, school and preparation program accountability (CEI, Room 201)
4. Professional development and induction support for experienced and new educators and leaders (CEI, Room 202)
