NYS Attorney General Letitia James welcomes Charitable Organizations, Board Members, Staff, Support Teams & Professionals to the 2023 NNY Charities Symposium!
Join us for this FREE educational networking event! Deputy Charities Bureau Chief Karin Kunstler Goldman will speak regarding updates in the Attorney General’s charities sector (including mandatory e-filing and other topical issues). She will be joined by Kelly Mathews, COO of the New York Council of Nonprofits (speaking on financial obligations and proficiencies at nonprofits), and Dr. Nicky Hylton-Patterson, Manager of DEI & Belonging at Little Flower Children & Family Services of NY, (presenting on the importance of diversity and inclusion for nonprofit health and longevity).
The program will be capped with a moderated panel discussion featuring several local nonprofit representatives to engage the audience on common challenges facing nonprofits in Northern NY and how to navigate issues for organizational success (topics to include organizational roles/responsibilities, fundraising, mission, common trouble spots, recruitment and like topics).
