NVCI Full Course

This course is an introduction to basic crisis intervention techniques.  Learn to recognize warning signs that allow for early intervention, plus how to use verbal and non-verbal techniques to avoid a violent confrontation.

 

What you will learn:

Level of disruptive behavior

·         Successful verbal resolution of a crisis

·         Non-verbal aggression becomes physical

·         Dealing with fear and anxiety

 

Workshop: This day will train participants in safe physical intervention procedures.  An effective team approach to intervention will be introduced.

 

What you will learn:

Personal safety: when and how to restrain safely

·         From control to transport

·         Team intervention

·         Tension reduction After Intervention

·         Post-test for certification
