The New York State Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is excited to invite you to the Community Partnership Summit. Organizations that work closely with communities are key partners in the work to break the cycle of structural inequities that continue to perpetuate poverty and other harms across Rochester. The OAG is committed to working with community-based organizations to address these concerns and help Rochester communities thrive.
The Community Partnership Summit will provide opportunities for the OAG to hear directly from community organizations about issue areas affecting Rochester (i.e., housing, environmental, health care, labor, LGBTQ+, policing, education, access to justice, child poverty) and learning more about the OAG’s work so that we can respond to the needs and priorities in Rochester. This event is being planned in collaboration with Genesee Co-Op FCU, Citizen Action, Alliance for Quality Education, The New York Immigration Coalition, Workers Justice Center, Empire Justice Center, and New Pride Agenda.
The Summit will be comprised primarily of small group discussions on specific topics. In order to properly schedule these small meetings, we need to understand which topics people are interested in and schedule appropriately. So it is very important that all attendees fill out the survey here. The survey will help us plan and schedule to meet everyone’s priorities and interests. The survey will collect basic information, accessibility needs, and meeting topics that you would like to attend. Please respond to the survey by January 22, 2025.The Summit will be comprised primarily of small group discussions on specific topics. Your organization is welcome to attend any discussions that are relevant to you and your community.
