Join the Sierra Club and guests Oregon Wild and Great Old Broads for Wilderness on June 23-25 for a weekend camping trip to the heart of the Ochocos at Ochoco Forest Camp, located in the center of the proposed National Recreation Area.
Get to know our other wonderful and unique forest, near Prineville. Check in at the Welcome table on Friday afternoon, get set up, and after your dinner join the campfire circle for orientation and introductions.
Saturday morning we'll be serving coffee, tea and bites in the Pavilion while you choose from among leader-led easy, moderate or more lengthy hikes, or choose your own activity. Not all hikes appropriate for children.
After outings, gather for happy hour and pot luck. Sunday morning we'll have coffee, tea and bites in the Pavilion to greet your day.
Walton Lake is a few miles away, with paved path around the lake.
