This is a workshop that helps build skills, maturity, and confidence in youth (completed grades 4-6) to safely stay home alone.
Topics include:
Þ Ideas for rules and a basic schedule for when your child is home alone.
Þ Choosing and making basic, healthy foods on their own.
Þ Knowing the procedure if someone comes to the door.
Þ Management techniques for ever-present squabbles between siblings.
This class does not certify your child is ready to be home alone. Your child will have fun during this hands-on workshop & leave our day with a family workbook to guide you through discussing expectations together.
