This Community Conversation is being presented free for social workers, their clients, and the general public. It is not CEU eligible.
Learn how to protect yourself and clients from online fraud.
Online fraud comes in many forms. It ranges from viruses that attack computers with the goal of retrieving personal information, to email schemes that lure victims into wiring money to fraudulent sources, to “phishing” emails that purport to be from official entities (such as banks or the Internal Revenue Service) that solicit personal information from victims to be used to commit identity theft. The methods used by perpetrators of online fraud are constantly evolving. Join us and Cybercrime Support Network (CSN) for safety tips and tricks.
This is the first in a series of Community Conversations around online fraud.
CSN’s mission is to serve individuals and small businesses impacted by cybercrime.
