This epidemic touches people in more ways than any other. It knows no race, age, gender, or financial status. Learn how to recognize the signs of addiction and how you can help your employees. This event is free of charge and open to the public.

Topics discussed include an overview of the opiate epidemic, employer’s options once a problem is discovered, opioid overdose recognition and the use of Naloxone (Narcan) for reversal. Narcan administration training will be provided by the Erie County Health Department immediately following the presentation, and will last approxamately 30 minutes.
