Volunteers are needed to assist with the annual Optimist Christmas Tree Lot! This event runs from November 23, 2018 through approximately December 20th, depending on when the trees are sold out. This event sign up is for Friday, November 30, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. If you would like to work additional shifts for today, please sign up separately.

THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT! Volunteers should be able to assist with selling Christmas Trees, which my include lifting trees and moving them. Volunteers should be able to remain standing for the entire shift, and should be able to lift at least 25 pounds. Please dress accordingly.

Volunteers will meet in the Wells Fargo parking lot on the corner of Lee Highway and Glebe Road in Arlington. Use Wells Fargo address: 2218 N Glebe Rd., Arlington, VA 22207.

Cancellation policy

If you sign up for an event and can no longer make it, please email Katie Farrell at Kfarrell@oaronline.org. Failure to cancel will result in you being a no-show. If you are a no-show multiple times, you will no longer be able to volunteer at OAR Events, and will have to complete your hours at a community service site.
