This unique and bespoke course has been written and designed for individuals in General Practice and is based upon the principles of primary care, for anyone who has been promoted to the role through promotion or for managers who are keen to take a holistic refresher course.
The course is made up of 5 face to face modules, held monthly covering:
- Working in General Practice, past, present and future
- The Manager and their Practice
- Commissioning and ICB / ICS infrastructure
- Managing people and self-management
- Overview of practice finance
- Regulation and compliance in General Practice
- Premises – financial complexities and legal obligations
- Clinical governance and safeguarding service delivery
- Managing in a climate of finite resources
- Development in facilitating and supporting practice development
